There was once a potter in Egypt who made a ball-shaped jug with four feet, to keep it from rolling. She decorated it with elegant plant motifs. The potter had a daughter who made a hedgehog head and carefully glued it right in front of the jug, to make it funnier. She also painted the hedgehog's ears and spikes and highlighted the paws and plant motifs. Then the jug was fired in the kiln and went on for the millenias to come: before and after Jesus Christ, from the New Kingdom to the United Kingdom.
